Direct answer

Replit pricing starts with a free Starter plan. Replit Core costs $25 monthly or $20 per month when billed annually. Replit Pro costs $100 monthly or $95 per month when billed annually. Enterprise uses custom pricing. The subscription is only the first part of cost because Agent, publishing, databases, storage, and network usage share credits.

Summary

  • Starter is free. It provides daily Agent credits up to a monthly cap, separate monthly cloud credits, Lite build, and one 30-day published app.
  • Core is $25 monthly or $20 per month billed annually. It includes $25 in monthly credits and up to five collaborators.
  • Pro is $100 monthly or $95 per month billed annually. It includes $100 in monthly credits and up to 15 builders.
  • Pro replaced the former Teams plan. Current Pro pricing is not per seat for the first 15 builders.
  • Agent uses effort-based pricing. A request can cost credits even when it returns guidance without changing code.
  • Cloud costs can include publishing compute, requests, outbound transfer, production databases, and storage.
  • Set usage limits, a shutdown limit, and alerts before building or publishing a production app.

Is Replit free?

Yes. Replit Starter is free and can build and publish a first project. The free plan is an evaluation and light-building tier, not an unlimited production allowance. Agent receives daily credits up to a monthly cap. Cloud services receive separate monthly credits. The exact allowance appears in the account.

  • Agent chat and Lite build with daily credits, subject to a monthly cap.
  • Design Canvas and Visual Editor for exploring and adjusting an app.
  • A development database and monthly credits for eligible cloud usage.
  • One published app that goes down after 30 days and can be published again.
  • A visible Made with Replit badge on the free deployment.

Starter does not include Full build, Plan Mode, third-party connectors, Replit AI Integrations, or badge removal. More published apps also require Core or Pro. Replit's documentation says Full build and converting a design into a backend artifact require a paid plan.

Replit pricing plans in 2026

Replit shows monthly and yearly choices. The annual price is a monthly equivalent billed on an annual commitment. Taxes may apply by location. Included credits pay for eligible usage, but they are not the same as unlimited use.

Starter
free for exploration, daily Agent credits, monthly cloud credits, and one temporary published app.
Core monthly
$25 per month for personal projects and simple apps.
Core annual
$20 per month billed annually, a 20% reduction from the displayed monthly price.
Pro monthly
$100 per month for commercial and professional builds.
Pro annual
$95 per month billed annually, a 5% reduction from the displayed monthly price.
Enterprise
custom pricing for larger organizations that need advanced identity, privacy, networking, region, governance, and support controls.

What Replit Core includes

Core is the practical paid starting point for a person or small team that wants Full build and ongoing publishing. The current pricing view includes $25 in monthly credits. These credits apply to Agent and eligible cloud services.

  • Up to five collaborators and two parallel agents.
  • Full build, Lite build, Plan Mode, Design Canvas, Visual Editor, and supported artifact types.
  • Third-party connectors and Replit-managed AI integrations.
  • Unlimited workspaces and published apps, with cloud usage still charged against credits.
  • Publishing in available regions and removal of the Made with Replit badge.
  • One active background task, built-in logs and analytics, and access to current Core development resources.

Unlimited published apps does not mean unlimited free hosting. Publishing, databases, storage, network transfer, and AI can consume the same monthly credit allowance. Review Account usage to see which service used each credit.

When Replit Pro is worth the higher price

Pro targets commercial builds and larger teams. The current base view includes $100 in monthly credits. It supports up to 15 builders without a separate per-seat charge. Pooled credits and workspace usage reporting make the plan easier to manage across a team.

  • Up to 15 builders, 50 viewers, and 10 parallel agents on the current pricing view.
  • Turbo mode for faster Agent work, with Replit warning that requests can cost much more.
  • Access to the most powerful available models and higher parallel-task capacity.
  • Unused subscription credits can roll over for one month under the current Pro model.
  • Database rollback support for up to 28 days, with added retention affecting storage use.
  • Priority support with the response target stated in Replit's current Pro documentation.

Some comparisons still list a Teams plan at a per-seat price. Replit's current billing documentation says Pro replaced Teams. Pro includes up to 15 builders without per-user fees. Use current Pro pricing instead of a stale Teams calculation.

How Replit credits and Agent billing work

Replit uses credits as shared prepaid value across Agent and cloud services. Core and Pro include monthly credits. A balance can fall through code generation, planning, publishing, databases, storage, or other metered services. Estimate each category rather than treating the plan fee as the final bill.

  • Agent uses effort-based pricing. More complex work can cost more than a small request.
  • All Agent interactions are billable under the current documentation, including guidance and Plan Mode conversations.
  • A checkpoint can bundle the work for one request, so it may cost more than a narrow edit.
  • Lite, Economy, Power, and Pro's Turbo option trade capability or speed against credit use.
  • The Agent tab shows checkpoint costs. The usage dashboard provides the broader account breakdown.
  • Usage data may take up to 30 minutes to appear, according to the current billing guide.

Publishing and database costs beyond the plan

A production app can consume credits after the build is complete. Replit meters publishing and production data by resource. Traffic, background work, active databases, storage, and outbound transfer can therefore change the monthly total.

Outbound data transfer
Replit counts outgoing traffic, while incoming transfer is free under the current guide.
Autoscale compute
CPU and memory time become compute units.
Requests
autoscale deployments also meter request volume.
Production PostgreSQL
billing uses compute time and stored data.
Development databases
current documentation says they are free and included with each Replit app.
Object storage and other services
review their own meters and the account usage breakdown.

Calculate your real monthly Replit cost

  1. Start with the monthly plan price or the monthly equivalent of the annual commitment.
  2. Record Agent use by task type, mode, checkpoint, builder, and rework during a representative build month.
  3. Add production publishing compute, requests, outbound transfer, databases, storage, and scheduled or reserved workloads.
  4. Subtract included credits once. Credits are shared value, so do not subtract them separately from every category.
  5. Add purchased credit packs and any usage charged after the included allowance.
  6. Add external model, payment, email, domain, monitoring, storage, and other service costs outside Replit.
  7. Include engineering, design, testing, security, support, and migration time to compare total cost with another stack.

Monthly cash cost equals the plan payment plus chargeable usage and external services. Included credits reduce eligible Replit usage, not labor or third-party bills. Use two scenarios: normal traffic and a growth or debugging month.

Control Replit spending before it grows

  • Set a usage limit to cap spending after monthly credits are used.
  • Configure the service shutdown limit when cost protection matters more than uninterrupted service.
  • Create alerts below the hard limit so the team can investigate before work stops.
  • Plan narrowly before asking Agent to implement. Use cheaper modes for suitable tasks.
  • Review proposed work and avoid spending credits on broad or ambiguous changes.
  • Track usage by workspace and builder on Pro, then review the largest categories every week.
  • Treat credit packs as expiring prepaid value. Current packs expire after six months and do not renew.

Follow Replit's current guidance for alerts, usage limits, shutdown limits, modes, and credit packs.

Which Replit plan should you choose?

  • Choose Starter to learn the workflow, test Lite build, and publish one temporary low-risk project.
  • Choose Core for ongoing personal or small-team builds that need Full build, connectors, more publishing, and up to five collaborators.
  • Choose Pro when up to 15 builders, more parallel work, Turbo, pooled credits, rollover, longer rollback, and priority support justify the base price.
  • Discuss Enterprise when identity, networking, privacy, region, governance, data connections, or dedicated support are hard requirements.
  • Choose another stack when local development, native mobile delivery, infrastructure control, a different cost model, or existing team skills matter more.

Frequently asked questions

Treat Replit as a plan plus a metered operating system

The headline plan price is useful, but it is not a complete Replit budget. Start free, measure a representative build, separate AI from cloud use, and test production traffic. Then select the plan, limits, and credit allowance from evidence. Recheck official pricing before every annual commitment.
